Membership:
The Community Engagement Board (CEB) is typically comprised of emerging professionals aged 22-40; however, this is not a set requirement for membership. Members are recruited on a yearly basis each January.
CEB members must be able to commit to bi-monthly meetings and are encouraged to participate in fundraising and outreach events out in the community. Members are also encouraged to make a small financial contribution to project:HOMES as they are able to.
Members benefit from an abundance of volunteer opportunities, networking with other Richmond-area professionals, an increased awareness and knowledge of housing issues, and improved leadership and non-profit management skills. Monthly time commitment is limited; however, those taking on a leadership role within the board should expect a larger time commitment.
Apply to Join the CEB:
We are so glad you have an interest in joining the CEB! Applications for this year are currently closed and will reopen January 2025.
If you have a passion for affordable housing, energy conservation, and supporting our mission of "improving lives by improving homes," our CEB may be the right fit for you!
Interested emerging professionals are encouraged to apply to become members of the project:HOMES Community Engagement Board.
Applicants must be able to commit to attending meetings every other month, and volunteering and participating at fundraising events.
Please apply through this link. Applications will are due Monday, February 5, 2024.
